nice sharing from http://lobaksoup.blogspot.com/ . Honest speaking, it's quite true that some of the guys react "stupid" or cool toward love. I'm one of them and I never deny it. But there are a lot of reasons why we react that way.Here are some of my OWN thoughts. NOTHING TO DO WITH ANYONE ya ;)
why do we need to say "I love you" everytime in a "special relationship"?? 3 words can really show everything including our love to the girlfriend??ask ourselves how many time do we say "I love you" to our parents in A YEAR? I failed to say it but I try my best to show them I love them ... I failed to use words to express my love and I believe some of us are facing the same situation too. May be the girls need to know their bf better, whether he is more to "Word" or "Action" kind of bf. Action here means they like to do thing to show their love. Bringing you around, make u a card, a gift, cook for you ... ...
Why do we need to say "woahh...u're so pretty ...you're so ... " everytime we were asked "Dear, do I look fat? Am I pretty?" and stuff like tat... If we can love someone at the 1st place, for sure the someone is the best and special for us to love. Be honest la, will you love someone YOU think he or she is ugly?? It happened to me when I was in standard 4. I had this "special feeling" or may be "love" toward a girl ( LISTEN !! we never hold hand and never officially started the relationship ok :P ). For sure my friends knew about it but they didnt understand the reason why I like her.Simply because for them, she wasnt pretty at all. But for me, she is woahhh....!!!
to GUYS, if you say ur girlfriend is ugly, then you must be "Bak jiu kor sai"(Hok Kien)!! Direct Translation : Apply Shit on your eyes!!
to GIRLS, if you want assurance from ur boyfriend to say that you're pretty, you're not a God's creation anymore. Oh ya, 1 more suggestion, may be u need to help your bf to remove "the shit" on his eyes. Girls, be confident with urself, you're always the best for ur bf (future husband).
A real man will love you for who you're and love you for a right reason too. If the "Words" from a man can make a girl to feel secure and in love, I believe she is too easy to be pleased and to be loved. Guys just need to put more effort to SAY IT. as simple as that :) We can even act like we really "mean it" !! Guys are good actors as long as we can get what we want. It happened to me too, but for sure I loved my gf and she loved me too la :P, as I shared earlier, my problem was I failed to use words to express my love ..but because of she is a "Word" kind of person, she need to hear from me that I love her, so sometimes I really have to "force" myself to say it and act like I really mean it. ( if "you"'re reading this, do not feel hurt cause I did love you.) aiyaaa...malu to say tat I didnt know what is love n how to love, and I can't say I loved her also... thats why habis in the end ... in other words, I wasnt and I'm not qualify or ready or mature enuff to be involved in relationship also la ... I itchy ma at tat time ... :( ...
to couples, are you prepare for marriage in ur relationship? If marriage is out of our consideration, what is relationship all about?to show off? holding hands?kissing?hugging?sharing emotional needs?feeling or may be sex ...? "I kissed Dating Good bye" by Joshua Harris might has the answer for some of us. I'm challenged or may be even struggle with some of the challenges he wrote in the book eventhough I'm only half way reading it. You read it and you will know why I said so, but overall, it's really a good book if we believe that God can speak to us through this book ...
Remember I'm a human too, I can react "funny" to a girl if I found she is attractive. Who don't ?? Having "special feeling", giving "special treatment", spending too much time lepak around ... we're actually acting funny already ... To be honest, it happened to me again la simply because I'm a human (a very good excuse right??hehe..) BUT it's ok, we are born with emotion and with feeling ma, BUT we need to control it and make sure we dont "over funny" la...later ciak sai and we get hurt in the end, How!?Don't blame God at that time for not "giving" us the person to be the "ONE" in our life. Not fair to Him also right, in His word He promised to give us the best, but the problem is we dont believe ma...ciak sai d then only blame Him... blame urself for being itchy, it would be fair for Him. TRY our best not to play but to PRAY lo. I'm trying also la... me human la... can fall also... but Thank God for the brother and sister who always encourage me in everyway :)
Girls... on behalf of all the guys, I beg you this ...don't keep asking or wanting us to say "I love you", "WAahhh...you so pretty today!!"( ya..just today.. but not other day) ,"baby baby...u're the best /the sweetest/ the this the that .... baby on this earth!!" it's all about using the "WORDS". Come on, we're the REAL MEN, dun under estimate us, expect more from us la, right or not guys??Guys rocksss!!! if the guys can only use words to please you and to make u feel in love... I wish you all the best lo, my dearest sisters. But do not worry, we will definitely say "I love you" , " ... " when the time is right (Once a year?? may be...but that will be the most precious and the most special moment everytime we do that :)
