Powerful Testimony by Jane'nette
Kepo Blog back in business !! Actually I duwan to blog anymore b4 final, but then after hearing the testimony shared by Jane'nette, something is moving in my heart to blog n share with u guys at least 1 more time b4 final.
Jane'nette shared about how she had gone through the hard time when she just accepted Christ in alpha. Parents disagree with her...and she faced a lot of persecution in her beginning walk with God. But she remained faithful and continue to pray…recently, her grandma and sister had already accepted Christ.( Can u hear the angels sing and the whole heaven rejoice? ) GOD IS ABLE !!
I have a blog dated Friday,March 19,2004 where I asked the question “what is life all about” and a bit of my own experience living in a nonchristian family. Jane’nette was once again reminded me that I must remain my trust in God for salvation for my family.
1st point that I want to bring is I believed tat she had prayed the same prayer over and over again for her family’s salvation from the 1st day she accepted Christ. After few years, God answered her prayer.( it took few years…not few days wait for God’s timing ) Sometimes we might few tired praying the same prayer over n over again but from her testimony, God does answer our prayer ACCORDING to HIS TIMING NOT US. Be perseverance. I lack of this and I want to learn that from today onward, how about you?
2nd point, talk about perseverance, are we suppose to wait and wait and “hold on” without our faith without doing anything? I only “Willing” to accept Christ “Officially” when I was in end of beta if I m not mistaken la:P How long was it from now? Emm…about 2 years ago? I would like to say I’m on fire for God for this past 2 years until … … BUT I always ask myself, how long can this “Fire” last ?? seriously I dunno :|. Sometimes I feel discourage when God seems to be remained “quiet” to my prayer even though I serve Him all this while, but I realized when I feel discourage, God cheer me up. When I feel tired, God restores my strength. When I failed, He gives me 2nd chance to try again. Through all those experiences, clearly showed tat perseverance is not just wait and do nothing but while waiting, we can still do something so that there are places( failure, tiredness, in time of needs, disappointment, success…etc.) where God can reach out to us. I believe the place where God can reach out to us, there is the place God want to bless us more and strengthen us. IF we’re perfect, is there any more places where God can bless us? Reading bible and pray is a must for us ( I’ve to say that la even though…eh hum..:P ) But can we put in action as well? Let’s continue to serve and not only wait for the answer. Through serving, we can experience more n more !!
3rd point, a born Christian can also loose their faith and passion for God, don’t say myself who never really know God until I was 19 but I want to learn how to trust in Him more from one day to another day.Honest speaking, I feel hurt when I see a born Christian draw away from God. Miann…Jane’nette had gone through so much…myself also face the same situation and there are a lot more facing the same problem. But why a born Christian can just give up their faith and do not appreciate the salvation that God had given to them since the 1st day they were born. They did not need to go through all the hard time, they just need to receive without any disagreement from their family or relatives since the 1st day they were born. My dear brother n sister, God is real and there is no doubt for us to continue to believe in Him since the 1st day we met Him. I can assure you that you know Him more than me. Why? Cause you have heard a lot about Him for the past 20 years but I have only heard about Him for the past 3 years. I’m still trying my best to finish reading the whole bible and understand it, but you might have finished reading the whole bible for many times and understand it well. I never go Sunday school before, I always wish to join Sunday school if they allow a 22 years old “boy” to join the kids :P … See…I only experienced hard time on my way to know God. But for those who are born Christians, be thankful and love him even more than any others lo...you got the chance to hear so many stories from Sunday school, know how to sing all the “cute cute” songs :D…parents pray for you during your exams and when you’re sick, Sunday can go church together and praise n worship God together… and so on n so on…woahh…what a great thing tat can happened in your life ?Do you still want to give up all this things or choose to appreciate everything that God had given to you? I leave this question for you to think and answer and pray about it.
I’m sorry if this blog did hurt anyone of you, but “something” had urged me to share it here. Do share your opinion or comment with me, so that we can do some discussions and encourage one another from time to time. May God continue to love you and you will love Him even more.
